The person behind the work.
Wrought & Co. started with one door — and it wasn't for a client.
Our founder was looking for a wrought-iron entrance for his own home. What started as a search for the right door became something much more personal. Once it was installed, there was something about walking through it every day — the weight of the iron, the feeling of security, and the way it completely changed the presence of the home.
It made him wonder why something so beautiful and substantial had to be so difficult to find.
With a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Engineering (Mechanical) from RMIT University, his background has always been in understanding how things are designed, made and built to last. Working in manufacturing as a Senior Quality Lead Engineer further shaped an attention to detail that naturally became part of Wrought & Co.
But Wrought & Co. wasn't created to be an engineering exercise.
It was created to give other homeowners that same feeling he experienced with his own home — an entrance that feels substantial when you open it, secure when you close it, and quietly impressive every time you walk towards it.
That first door still welcomes him home today.
And in many ways, every Wrought & Co. door begins with the same thought: Would we be proud to walk through this door ourselves?
